In late february I went on an oakley/tgr trip to northern BC.The crew was seth, dana, tanner and I.Pretty sick. There heli terrain was huge and remote. Also the lodge was 5 star.It had been sunny for 2 weeks before we showed up and was abit over cast the first couple days so we did some relaxing,cross-country skiing, beer drinking and foozball playing. When the sun broke we were in awe with the sights. We scoped a ton of terrain at first and then started by looking for stuff with light on it.The seconded mission was finding soft snow that wasnt blown away from the strong north winds that had been hitting the coast range aswell as the skeena range. The heli time we had booked was flying by from looking for nice terrain, picking up the 2 loads, finding light, snow and just working around all the variables the mountains brought us.We had such an awsome guide, pilot and crew so we had many good runs but the conditions were hard for doing the stuff we needed for filming but we picked away every couple days and had mostly high pressureand no new snow.It was great to ski the terrain up there. At the end we hit some fun spine lines,a windlip session and some of us made the second decent of the second highest peak in the skeena range with a gnarly tow in landing and a 4500 ft coulour on the northwest face,it was a mostly successful adventure. Thanks crew.
